The 5 Best Books Turned Into Movies

Image
When a book that you love comes to life on the big screen, it's one of the best feelings in the world. It's a chance not only to watch your favorite characters come to life, but to watch it with others that are just as in love with the books and people in the book as you are... and by in love I mean obsessed. Although I think a little obsession is healthy, especially when it comes to fictional characters.  Here are 5 of my absolute favorite book to screen movies that I absolutely adore. Most of them are Fantasy/YA but there are one or two movies in the mix that I just had to throw in there. Enjoy! #5. Twilight By Stephanie Meyer This one has a love/ hate relationship for a lot of people (even the actors in the movies don't really care for it, some downright hated the Twilight series *cough* Rob *cough*). Personally though, I loved these movies and I went to the movies to see every single one of them. A vampire falling in love with a hum...

Book Review: A Shade of Vampire By Bella Forrest

A Shade of Vampire     Buy Here This is honestly one of my favori te series of all time There are about seven books in this series that have to do with Sofia and Derek, but believe me when I  say that there are a ton of books in the complete series,(about 52 books total!).  This book really gets to me because the love that Derek has for Sofia is almost palpable . From the beginning, you could just tell that Derek didn’t even care to look at other women, even if he had a harem in his apartment, he only had eyes for the girl that he felt was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen with the most innocent heart... something that makes him feel a little less like a monster, a little more like a man in love. The way Bella Forrest was able to go back and forth from Sofia’s point of view to Derek’s just let you see what was going through both of their heads in each situation, which is great and one of my favorite things for author’s to do. I ...

Book Review: How to Hang A Witch By Adriana Mather

Image
Buy Here Okay, so this book is actually fascinating to me for two reasons: one, the author, Adriana Mather , is an actual descendent of Cotton Mather – Let that sink in for a bit. S M XL   If you don’t know who he is, let me explain why this is so significant. Cotton Mather was a minister that started the witch hunts and led to many innocent people’s death during the Salem Witch Trials. And reason two why this is amazing to me is pretty simple. SHE’S MY FAVORITE AUTHOR!!! The Salem Witch Trials is one of my favorite things to learn about, second only to the Titanic, and SPOILER : her second book is based on the Titanic, which I will also be reviewing in another post. Honestly, it feels like she’s writing to me lol, she is such a good writer, personally speaking, I think she can’t disappoint as an author.   ~RECOMMENDATIONS~ I recommend this book to: - Those that like the paranormal theme in books - Those that ove historical fiction - People t...

The struggle of having a book obsession is real. Here are some problems every book worm goes through... let's be honest, at least a couple of times a week.   #1. When you get car sick from reading in the car You even know that it’s going to happen and yet you still open that book up   #2. Reading the next book in a series and getting to the end… ONLY TO FIND OUT THERE’s ANOTHER BOOK THAT WON’T COME OUT FOR ANOTHER YEAR OR TWO!!   Yeah, it’s happened to me a lot. Am I bitter and impatient? Yes. Am I still waiting for the book to come out as we speak? YEP, it's fine, not like I need to be happy or anything.   #3. When a book is getting too intense so you just have to close it and stay away from it for a few days   And when you grab the book again you have to psych yourself up to open it, you know the emotions are going to get you   #4. When a book series ends but you’re not ready to let go so you sta...
